Old Edinburgh Postcards

Edinburgh has been the Scottish capital since way back in the 15th century and is renowned for educational institutes, especially in the fields of law, literature and medicine. It is the second most popular tourist destination in the UK, probably due to the cultural and historical attractions of the city. The city boasts not only a historic castle fortress but is also home to the Royal Zoological Society Of Scotland Zoo. Home to a varied collection of wildlife and insects (They even have a Panda Cam).

Edinburgh has a busy airport with two runways and one terminal. Flights depart to destinations including Turkey, Spain, Greece, France and more. It was the busiest Scottish airport in 2016 with over 12 million passengers passing through it's terminal.

Eastbourne Postcards

Eastbourne Postcards

The seaside resort of Eastbourne is located on the south coast of England 17 miles east of Brighton. The Duke of Devonshire is responsible for the development of the town in 1859 from four small hamlets.

The seafront has many Victorian hotels, a pier and a military museum and tourism provides a large proportion of the town's income.

The infamous suicide spot, Beachy Head lies to the West of the town and is unofficially the 3rd most common suicide location.

The pier, constructed between 1866 and 1872 and was officially opened on June 13th 1870 by Lord Edward Cavendish despite not being finished until two years later. The pier suffered major fire damage in 2014.
